Dr. Mark Abel
Dr. Abel was born and raised in the Midwest and acquired all of his higher education in the Northeast. He obtained an undergraduate degree from MIT in 1998 and his dental degree from Harvard in 2003. At Harvard, Dr. Abel was the recipient of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Award. He then moved to Philadelphia where he earned a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. In June of 2009, he completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Abel is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He subsequently has earned Fellowship status from the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Abel is a recent past President of the Greater Manchester Dental Society, a regional component of the New Hampshire Dental Society. He is certified for office administration of general anesthesia and is a New Hampshire Office Anesthesia Evaluator.
Outside of work, Dr. Abel enjoys spending time with his wife Sue and their two sons Soren and Henry.
